Grayscale PDF
Convert a color PDF to grayscale or high-contrast black and white to save ink when printing. Pick the quality, preview the result, and download — free, in your browser.
·
Pages are redrawn as images, so text in the result can’t be selected or searched.
How it works
- Choose a PDF file.
- Pick the quality and tone — the preview shows the first page.
- Click “Convert to grayscale” and the new PDF downloads.
FAQ
Which quality should I choose?
150 dpi is good for most documents. Use 300 dpi for small print or photos, and 100 dpi when you need a small file.
Can I still select the text afterwards?
No. Each page is redrawn as an image, so the text becomes part of the picture. Keep the original if you need searchable text.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser.
