FAQ
What is lorem ipsum?
It’s scrambled Latin based on a text by Cicero, used since the 1500s as filler text. It looks like real writing, so people judge the layout instead of reading the words.
Can I use it in commercial projects?
Yes. Lorem ipsum is in the public domain, so you can use it freely. Just remember to replace it with real content before you publish.
Is there Korean or Japanese placeholder text?
This tool makes Latin lorem ipsum, the standard used worldwide. For layouts in other languages, test with a sample of real text too, since line breaks and character widths differ.
